Chiropractic Care for All Creatures Great and Small
Some of the more inspiring stories we have from our chiropractic practice are the ones that involve animals. Yes, we adjust animals, too—and we are quick to say it’s one of the easiest ways to help them overcome many of the same dysfunctions you face every day. For instance, Dr. Burgess once worked on a Rottweiler that had to be helped into our facility by its owner because it was unable to walk. Within two adjustments, this precious dog went from possibly needing emergency surgery to being completely fine.
Animals of all shapes and sizes (except snakes and lizards) are near and dear to our family. So, our mission is to ensure they are well-adjust ed, too. This includes dogs and cats, but our door is also open to wild birds, raccoons, horses, cows, and even skunks. Dr. Davis is certified by the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Dr. Burgess is also trained to provide animal adjustments.

How It Works
Dr. Burgess and Dr. Davis believe animal adjustments are an effective and valuable way of restoring and maintaining strength, vigor, and well-being. It is a complementary therapy technique to routine veterinary care that relies on controlled and precise manual adjustments (either by hand or with an instrument) to correct spine and joint misalignments in animals of all shapes and sizes. More importantly, it is an effective way to optimize the nervous system. As a result, they can move more easily, experience less pain, and live longer, healthier lives. Not every chiropractor can perform animal adjustments. You must be a licensed professional with additional training in animal chiropractic techniques.
There are many reasons to consider animal adjustments, including but not limited to the following:

Performance issues Behavioral issues Injuries and illnesses Post-surgical care
Lameness and stiffness Sleeping problems Neurological conditions Incontinence
